Water in its purest form is found in the vapour that raises from the Earth's surface, leaving behind any contaminants it may have collected.

Water from rivers, lakes and oceans is evaporated by heat of the sun turning water into water vapour (evaporation), forming clouds (condensation) and subsequently become heavy with water and come back to earth (precipation) in the form of rain, snow or hail. This process of evaporation, condensation and precipitation is known as the Hydrologic Cycle.
